Imagine

Today I heard the old John Lennon song Imagine. It got me thinking about my life, our lives. I thought about how my views on life in general, and my stance on specific things, has either changed or matured over time. I realized that the truth is always right in front of us. But Governments, Corporations, and people are constantly fighting to make us believe what their truth is. There is a difference between truth, and profit.

I joined our Military after 9-11. I was angry. Wanted revenge. I believed I was fighting for our families, and fighting for freedom. I would do absolutely anything I was told to do, and I 100% believed I was doing the right thing.

I have changed over the years. We are told that everyone is different, and we should respect each other for whom we are. Yet the way we are has changed. In a lot of ways. Are we setting a good example for the rest of the World?

Pretend you are the leader of a Country. Not long ago your land was a colony of some Western Country. Your Country was basically robbed of its natural resources. The citizens of your Country were treated like slaves. Not much money was reinvested into your Country by your Colonial ruler.

Previous leaders of your Country were puppets for the West. They did as they were told, and got wealthy by doing so.

America was like a dream. Freedom, and the streets are paved with Gold, you were told as a child. But now your opinion of America has changed. You know what is best for your people. Your land still has wealth beyond imagination in its natural resources. You are not concerned with your own wealth, rather the growth and lifting your people up from the "Third World."

There are Countries that are offering to help you with major projects, such as building roads, public transportation, creating Universities, state of the art Hospitals, water treatment plants, and agriculture training for farmers.

Then there are Countries that you feel like are run by Corporations. They offer you personally wealth beyond imagination. But see, much less concerned about your people. NGO's from these Countries bring food for your hungry, and set up clinics for your sick. But some of these NGO's are suspicious to you. You have seen what they have done to your neighboring countries. You are concerned that if you disagree with some of these Countries, they will plot against you through these NGO's. You are not stupid. These Countries do offer you one thing though. Weapons. Instead of building Universities and Hospitals, they want to build Military Bases on your land. They say so I can retain my power! And fight my enemies. The terrorists. But you see the same Country offering you protection, training the same terrorists they promise to protect you from!

Lead by example. As a Country, are we setting a good example for the rest of the World? Our leaders call it a rules based order. Either you are in, or you are out.

Look at us now. We have so much division in our Country. And it seems like to me that our own Government tries to create this division. Which tells me one thing. There are people that are doing very well the way everything is going, and has gone. And for this reason they do not want anything to change. Which means they could care less about you and I.

Which brings me to probably the most important thing I learned from serving our Country. Serving gave me the opportunity to travel the World. Although everybody is different, most all of us share this one thing in common. We love our Children. We want our Children to live in peace, and in a safe place that is called Home. We want our Children to have food, clean water, and health care. We want our Children to have hope, and opportunity for the future.

As a Country, are we offering the best path foreword for Families around the World, and their Children? What about Families right here in the United States, and their Children? Are we setting a good example? Is our rules based order real, or just a saying. A facade. A threat.

If you go back since the Russia-Ukraine War began you will notice I have been very critical about our decisions as a Country. Instead of reacting with emotion, like I did after 9-11, this time I took the time to study the history of Russia, Ukraine, and our involvement in the War. Which led me to study most all of the conflict and continual Wars we have been fighting for generations now.

But then I realized that I have been wrong. Not wrong because of what I believe in now. Wrong because I have spent little to no time thinking about solutions. Imagine, as American people, if we started working together to find solutions to problems our Country faces. Obviously, our Government is terrible at finding solutions to problems. Imagine if I had a good idea, and you had a good idea, and then there was someone good at putting ideas together, making a solution. Before long there would be many solutions, and through dialog, with our elected officials, we agree on a solution. And if that solution works great, if not move on to the next solution.

Spending over one Trillion Dollars a year on defense spending is not a solution. Having hundreds of Military Bases all around the World is not a solution (many illegally). Did you know, since 2001, we have spent over 14 Trillion Dollars on Defense spending! Do you think companies that make weapons, and some of their shareholders, want peace to break out around the World? Do you think our media, and think tanks, are telling us the truth about Wars and conflicts we are involved in around the World? Do you think our Government actually gives a damn about Ukraine and its people? Why do you think we really hate Russia and Putin. Remember the Family thing, and all wanting the same things for our Families? Russian people are no different. China people are no different. Syrian people are no different. Iranian people are no different. Yet, just in the past week, all I have heard from our Western Allies is how Russia is planning to invade all of Europe! And as soon as Ukraine falls Russia is going to keep on going. Putin unequivocally states Russia has absolutely no intention invading anybody! One does not have to like Putin to believe what he says. and he says he will not invade anyone, unless we provoke and threaten Russia. If you really take a hard look at Ukraine, that is exactly what we did. Putin warned us over and over. But we did not stop the escalation. We undermined the peace proccess. We blew up the pipeline which supplied our Allies with cheap fuel. Our Allys are suffering immensely now, not Russia. There are telephone conversations proving we backed the Ukrainian coup in 2014. We weaponized the Dollar against Russia. We froze Russia's assets around the World, and we are now trying to spend those assets. Just look at what this War has done to the Ukrainian people, and Russian people for that matter. Look at the weapons we have poured into Ukraine and Israel There has been no effort at negotiations, and when there was we torpedoed the signed agreement! Western leaders have come out and actually said previous agreements between Russia and Ukraine were just stalling tactics so Ukraine could have more time to prepare for War with Russia. Why do you think we want War with Russia so bad? Why do we hate Putin so bad? It is not because Russia is some monster, it is because we wanted to continue doing what we were doing to Russia after the Soviet Union fell. The same thing we do to so many Countries around the World. We wanted to steal their resources. Putin put an end to that. We would never do that some may say. We are doing it right now in Syria.

Do you think our Allys are really afraid of Russia invading them? Did you know that Ukrainian President Zelensky sold most of its ports, and a lot of its fertile land, to the UK and Corporations like Black Rock? Just imagine what we were planning after our sanctions destroyed Russia. Now there is complete Panick in the West and in the Corporations that foolishly invested in Ukraine. This is why they will not stop this War. This is why they must get that 61 Billion to Ukraine (our tax dollars). At some point the piper will be paid.

MY SOLUTION

Ukraine will never win this War, Russia will never give up, and we do not want WWIII. How about his.

Ukraine is 100% reliant on us to keep it afloat. Instead of 61 Billion for weapons, how about his. First of all, lets make a model that could be used around the World! What if we sat down WITH Russia, and made this deal. We rebuild Ukraine WITH Russia. We agree with Russia that Ukraine will always be a neutral Country. After a certain amount of time, and Russia begins to trust us again, then land will be returned to Ukraine. Russian people in Ukraine are treated with the same respect as all Ukrainians are treated with. Long term Loans could be taken out, by Ukraine, to pay back Russia and US for our investment into Ukraine. All ports and land bought by the West must also be returned to Ukraine. Ukraine would once again benefit from cheap Russian energy going through pipelines to European Countries. China could also get involved by allowing them to build that railway system they are building from China to the European Markets. Ukraine would benefit greatly from this railway going through their Country. Ukraine could work with Western and Russian corporations to rebuild. Rules could be made insuring the Ukrainian peoples interest, and equal amounts of contracts would go to Russian and Western Corperations. Ukraine has a corruption problem. Laws would be made protecting the Ukrainian people from this corruption. Everything is very transparent. Russia and the West come together and build the finest Universities and school systems in the World. China would help with this also. Brand new state of the art Hospitals would be built in Ukraine.

The United States realizes that by helping Ukraine Rebuild its economy, the Ukrainian people will get back to work, not War, and have money to spend on commerce. Profits will come to us from commerce. Instead of from weapons.

Other developing nations would see our intentions are pure. The Ukrainian people start doing good again. Countries around the World start to respect us again because they see what we did. They see we admitted our mistakes, and we are now using our greatness and power in the right way.

We open up a dialog with all of our "enemies" around the world. There is always going to be bad, and evil. Lets get out of that category, and leave the scumbags there. We will figure out who they are. What I am trying to say, if we figured out we could work with Russia, most likely we can work with many of our current "enemies." It will take a long time for many wounds to heal, but you have to start somewhere.

So there you have it. My idea for peace in Ukraine, and perhaps peace around the World. If developed nations would work together to lift up ALL third World Countries, and bring those populations into our Marketplaces, all Countries would benefit in so many ways. It will take time and sacrifice in the beginning. But in the long term it will be worth it to us all! The one thing we all have in common would become a reality for all. A good future for our

Children. The future all Children deserve. A future that is priceless.
