Night Crawlers
I just spent 20 minutes writing about my Night Crawlers, and somehow it all got erased. I am GRRR. I wrote a Blog about how my son, and I love to go fishing, but it is so hard to find good worms anywhere. They are always half dead, all shriveled up, and not very lively on the hook.
So, a month ago I ordered 300 Canadian Night Crawlers. They grow up tp 6 inches long. They are already mating, and soon I will have to transport a batch other the worms to another “condo” as I call their habitat, I made them.
In a couple months I am going to offer Night Crawler Condos completely set up with a pre-determined amount of Night Crawlers. I am going to include a couple weeks of my special worm food, and complete instructions. I am going to even have a warranty.
If you are interested, keep me in mind. I am telling you, these Night Crawlers grow to 6 inches, and they are FAT! The Bass and panfish go absolutely nuts! I am going to try them in brackish water also.
I came back to this post for an update. The worms are really doing good. They tend to come out at night. I will open their Condo lid, and there will be many Night Crawlers worming around the surface, doing what they do. During the day, they basically disappear deep into the depts of the Condo. One day I got worried and took a big scoop of dirt. There they were, probably pissed off I dug them up. From what I have read, they burrow down, following the same path which makes since. Sometimes they will all come together into a big ball of worms. I do not know if they are mating or what. I have noticed a bunch of new baby Night Crawlers. From what I have read, they can live up to 5 years!
