Thank YOU, EBAY!

Thank you, eBay! On 12/10/2023 eBay excepted Veteran Support USA into their Affiliate Partners program. Just like I felt when our other Partners accepted us, I an fired up to be able to offer nothing but the best to our Veteran Support Membership. I could not be happier because through eBay, I will be able to offer our membership just about anything!

eBay has a training program I am already taking full advantage of. This is actually very important, because before I advertise anything in my pages or Group, I want to be familiar with the person or organization offering the products. I will contact them, learn about their fulfillment process, and perhaps see about receiving additional discounts which would drive customers to use links supplied to me by eBay.

I guess for me personally, it came down to who was going to offer me the opportunity first. Would it be eBay, or Amazon. I applied for Amazon first, but when I turned in my application, something glitched out, and it was like I never filled anything out! The system brought me right back to the Beginning.

And never forget about Impact, and the Fanatics. They are the ones that brought me into this World, and I am ready to resume my training with them. This whole website situation took all of my time and effort, the past few times two weeks!

For anything concerning these types of Partnerships to be successful, you have to have a way to generate leads and sales. For most people this comes through their social media accounts. And why do people check in routinely with a person’s (or my, for that matter) social media accounts? It is not to suddenly be bombarded with advertisements from the person they are following.

There are different ways to handle the question. How much should I advertise products from my Partnerships versus posting genuine content. Some people say to figure out a ratio. for example, I could say 70% of my content will be my own content, and 30% will be advertisements for my Partnerships. In that case it is important to have a colander so you can look ahead and see if there is a major event coming. During that week you probably would want to advertise more, and produce content related to the even that would be taking place.

And this is the beautiful thing about Blogging. Some of these Ideas I am creating while writing this Blog. Perhaps on day a veteran will reach out to Veteran Support needing a job (this happens quite often, actually). I can tell him about Affiliate Partnerships and advise him to read Blogs like this one, so he can get a feel with how I personally operate.

If the veteran is sincere, and I see he is putting effort into the opportunities (possibilities) I am providing for him or her, then I would introduce him or her to Veteran Supports Partners.

When it comes to employment situations, most people need cash yesterday. That is why I always start where it all began, and that is selling on Facebook Marketplace. You can generate cash almost immediately, using Facebook Marketplace. All you need is some type of transportation. A truck preferably. Then figure out when trash pickup day is around your neighborhood. Go out early that morning (the earlier the better) and go on what I call “Treasure Hunts.”

Once you have found a few items, take some pictures of everything you found. All of the items must be though roughly cleaned, and some of the items might need a coat of paint, or something like that, in which case you photo will be a “before” photo.

Once you have your photos, write a nice description about the items you are about to post. Facebook has excellent training classes on the subject of using Facebook Marketplace. The classes are a must read if you are planning on selling Facebook Marketplace.

Once you start generating some cash, take the money and run like hell! Just kidding. Take the money, thank the customer, and ALWAYS ask for a positive review. I will get into why reviews are so important in another post one day soon. Just trust me on getting reviews.

Now that you are familiar with Facebook Marketplace, and you are generating income, start building a website. I will write another entire Blog on building your own website very soon. Your website is very important. It is where you can tell people to go to find your content. I have a Blog Page in my website. This is a Blog for my Blog Page, which is with-in my website. Hopefully, people will begin following my Blog. I also have a Shop page in my website, loaded up with Veteran Support Merchandise.

The Shop Page has Veteran Support (Buy and Sell Marketplace) merchandise. You will also find one button for each one of our Partners. Click the button with your mouse (or finger) and you will be taken to the Partners website typed on the button. I fast forwarded a bit, let me back up.

Once you feel like you are ready, and generating a steady income with Facebook Marketplace, begin building your new website. People are starting to visit your website for whatever reason you geared your website towards. I have a Blog. Perhaps your website is geared around your favorite hobby, such as watching pornos. I am kidding again! How about growing plants. Your website is centered around gardening flowers.

Please let me back up a little more. Your website is picking up steam, but before creating the website, you started a Facebook Page and Group yourself! Did you know once you begin your Facebook Page and Group, you can invite all of your friends in your personal Facebook Page to like and follow your new Page, and to visit and then join your group! There are many ways to grow your new Business Page (as Facebook calls mine anyway) and your new Facebook Group.

Now, back to your new website. Just kidding. Not Yet. Now open some new accounts on other social media platforms, if you haven’t already. You could have actually done this right after you created you Facebook Page and Group. I will sum everything up soon on why to open all of these accounts. I have: OOPS. That was a big mistake. I tried to type out my entire web address. That is the greed in me, hoping someone reading this would actually visit my other accounts. Anyway, focus Eric. I have my two Facebook accounts, my Instagram account, which is like my boring first Cousin, there is my Tic Tok, which is my altered ego, my You Tube, which nobody ever views (damn logarithms), and finally Pinterest. I just do not know what to say about Pinterest. My two Facebook accounts are my bread and butter. We have almost 8,000 members in our group, and almost 4,000 followers following our page. Surprisingly, I am like a Tic Toc celebrity, and I do not know why. I have almost 3,000 followers there. I do well in twitter, with almost 3,000 followers. Then there is my “down the You Tubes” as I call it. I think the same 3 or 4 people religiously watch my videos there. Which scares me.

This is how I manage my time with social media accounts. I usually create a post or short video in my Facebook group discussion section. Then I will share it to my Facebook page, the feed, other Facebook groups, and a few friends’ timelines. Then I will share the post or video to all of my other social media accounts. This way new content is continuously being created and shared to all of my social media. One day a week I will concentrate on a different social media account. This week it may be my Facebook Group and Twitter. Next week it may be my Facebook Group and Instagram.

Pinterest is a little different. You can send pictures of items you are selling to Pinterest. Then you can use the picture in a descriptive post. The post has a button in which a link is attached. This link will take you to where the item can be purchased!

When you apply to be an Affiliates Partner, your potential partner will ask about all of your social media accounts. They want to see you have a few social media accounts, and that you are continuously growing your memberships.

Now you know what I know, which probably is not much. This is why when you do start applying for Partnerships, when one comes through, take full advantage of their training programs. I believe people will nor buy as much in the beginning, but once they see you advertising your Products and Partnerships over time, eventually they will start doing business with you.
