As you may or may not know, I have attempted to have a Veteran Support website numerous times. And to be honest, you are reading one of the main reasons I want one right now. I like to write, about whatever the heck I feel like writing about. I can only get so far with Facebook because I always end up getting in trouble.
The other reason I wanted a website is for our members. I want to be able to offer them top of the line Brands at awesome prices. I just recently figured out how to do that, and it is going to be awesome!
The first couple times I tried “Dropshipping.” It was a horrible experience, that is for sure. It cost me a lot of time, and money, for nothing.
Then I tried Affiliate Marketing. I applied at Wal Mart through a company that represents hundreds of companies just like Wal Mart. Somehow I thought I was applying at Wal Mart, but I actually was applying for the company that represents the companies!
Lucky for me, one of the head managers saw my application, and saw I was a veteran. He is bigtime with Fanatics, one of our partners. Anyway, he accepted my application.
When I found out, I really did not know what was gooing on. I kind of figured things out, and applied to work for Fanatics, all of the Pro Sport Leagues, and some of my favorite college teams. I also applied for some major stores that sell camping equiptment, and sporting goods.
this all happened about four months ago. but I kept having problems with my website. All of my extra time was going into trying to figure out what was wrong with my website.
Then, finally, i figured it out, yesterday a matter of fact. over the years i had created numerous emails in my name. i mean like 7 or 8 of them. so what was happening, every time i created a new account with lets say google ads, or google analytics, or even just having Veteran Support (buy and sell Marketplace) recognized as a business. Google would recognize veteran support as a business, but the next day put the account in restriction mode.
so what was happening was when i created new accounts with my email i was using at that time, the old emails were sitiing in the background, and the accounts were actually going under the old email. It would cause mass confusion, throw up red flags, and nothing could get done. It was so damn confusing and time consuming.
For example, I can only open up my website with a certain email. That email can do nothing else, which means the website is basically steril and cannot perform its functions.
The most agravating part has been dealing with Google and Facebook. Facebook basically took me off of our Veteran Support Page. I still run it, but can make no changes. Nobody can at this point. Google would except my business profile. I would spend hours creating the business, uploading products, things like that. Then the next day everything I had co,,pleted was earased. A different email would be running the page, and my own email would complain to google, and shut me down. isnt that nuts!
so, what I did yesterday was start over completely fresh. I opened a new Google ads account witth the same email I used to create our website. Then I joined analytics, and then Google commerse or whatever they call it. the entire time the other emails were practically fighting to get in controll of the page, but oner by one I deleted their pages, or stripped them of all information, then stuck the unwanted email deep in a corner somewhere.
now I am going to concentrate on getting a couple more partners. I want to get lowes, or home depot. Then a good electronics store. a store like target, or wal mart. And finally, i want a good jewelry store. Not a big name brand store, rather a store that makes their own jewelry. I am not talking about costume jewelry either.
veteran support will not only be helping our brothers when they reach out, but we will be offering our members the highest quality merchandise they wont even be able to find anywhere else! it is going to be awesome.
