I Wrote this post describing an acticle I was reading.
Reader Digression Advised
First off, our "enemies" have figured out how to defeat US, and our allies. All you have to do is hang in there and be patient. "We" will go in, first with air power, and reduce entire cities to rubble. In the process of leveling the cities, mostly Citizens of that Country are either be killed or maimed. The World media will report this horror story over and over. World opinion will shift. Americans will finally wake up but won't smell the coffee because they cannot afford it anymore. Overwhelming support will be for whomever we are attacking.
Our media will get our US Citizens all upset in the beginning, and while it lasts Billions will flow out of the coffers of the US Taxpayer, and into the Coffers of the Military Industrial Complex.
Eventually the US Taxpayer will get tired of running over the same potholes on the way to work every morning. About this time the money for the "War" or "Conflict", or whatever they are calling it at this point, suddenly runs out. The Team we have been lying to for however many months, is dropped like a Hot Potato. Their Country is devastated. Their Country turns out to be a great place for desperate, single Men because all of the Men from that Country has been killed or maimed in the War.

You are an average American Citizen. You are working more than you ever have in your life, just trying to maintain the lifestyle you and your Family are accustomed to. You have no time to sit down and watch the daily news. But every morning, before the workday begins, you glance through the front-page headlines of your favorite news source.
Our Country has been sending Billions to Ukraine practically every month for over two years now. You are getting a little fed up with the transfer of funds, lets say, to Ukraine. But look at the Headlines! It is worth it, and Ukraine should be victorious soon! Russias economy is in Tatters, as our European friends like to say. Russia is fighting with shovels on the front line. And Russia is using chips from washing machines to guide their missels and such! It is why they never hit the target. Plus Putin is very ill. The Russian people are fed up. Russia even has to use prisoners to fill the front lines! It will all be over soon.
This actually is pretty much how many people I know actually feel about the War. First off, notice the last names of the authors. Many of them seem foreign. That is because they are. Infact, a large percentage of the authors that get their articles printed in the United States are from Ukraine itself! Most of the rest are from our European Allies, NATO that is. No bias there!
The truth is this. Russia does not even want to take over much more land. There is not a stalemate. There never was a stalemate. Ukraine has lost a half million men in this War. Think of some of the bigger cities Russia has taken over. And also think about the counter offensive. Ukraine has been sending wave after wave after wave trying to gain territory back from the Russians. Russia eliminates wave after wave after wave, and then does a controlled retreat. Ukraine sends in its men, and it is all over the news. Ukraine is winning! OOps, but Russia has all of the coordinates. Every square inch. All of the Ukrainians are then eliminated with artillery and air power. Russia takes back the territory they had just ceded. Then they bait Ukraine back in. Do a planned retreat. Ukraine retakes the territory they had just retaken a month ago. Russia still has all of the coordinates. Every square inch. The Ukrainians are eliminated.
This is actually how the War has been fought the majority of the time, since the War began a little over two years ago. Russia has stated their goals from the very beginning, and they have achieved them all, pretty much. They retook the majority of the land where Russian speaking people live. They eliminated most of the far-right element that was stirring up most of the trouble with Russia. And, they have degraded Ukraine’s military 3 times over, to the point NATO is running out of its equipment and ammunition.
Russia’s economy is stronger than perhaps it has ever been. Putin’s approval rating is in the high 80’s. and now our worst nightmare has come true. Russia and China are best buddies! Russia has turned a large portion of its manufacturing base (something we do not really have any more) into a Military Manufacturing Juggernaut. They are cranking out planes, tanks, and everything else they need at a faster pace than all of NATO members combined.
One more thing. Ukraine cannot even fill its ranks any more without using teenage boys, old ass men, and women! Russia is getting 30-40,000 military age men volunteering every single month! And imagine this. Their military is now the most experienced military in the World.
Instead of doing what our media has been doing to our people, wouldn’t it be a better idea to write articles about what negotiations would look like? It is coming out now that Russia had more than fair terms but we blocked Ukraine from sitting at the table with Russia. Despicable is what I say. Negotiate, and spend that last couple billion rebuilding Ukraine so that they can get off of our dole! If not, we will cut and run like we do.
